Artoush Ohanian is a founding partner of B&O, with extensive experience the procurement and enforcement of patents. Artoush’s specialized practice builds strong credibility with clients in all matters of patent law. Relevant experience includes:

• Prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the areas of multimodal software applications, web applications, massive parallel computing, operating systems, middleware, database systems, pervasive computing systems, memory management, computer bus structures, heat sinks, chemical and physical material sciences including nanotechnology, DNA purification systems, seismic signal processing, seismic imaging, and many others.
• Extensive experience in complex high-stakes patent litigation including developing trial themes and preparing arguments for Markman hearings.
• Developed and implemented comprehensive patent strategies for complex, multimodal interactive web applications, in particular development of the voice-enabled web.
• Implemented comprehensive patent strategies for massively parallel supercomputers, in particular for the fastest computer architecture in the world, with installations representing the fastest computer in the world and nine of the 25 fastest computers in the world.
• Developed and implemented comprehensive patent strategies for next generation multimedia platforms for Fortune 15 company.
• Prepared opinions of non-infringement for geophysical services company engaged in contentious legal disputes with competitors.

Mr. Ohanian earned a bachelors degree in physics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and Institute of Intellectual Property and Information Law.
