Our lawyers have experience in technology transfer, transnational transactions, complex infrastructure and energy projects, corporate alliances, negotiations, global business development and law for American and international corporations. Brief examples of some of our lawyer's transactions experience include:
- Lead counsel in connection with development of an airborne e-mail product for international commercial airlines, concluded news and content agreements with numerous internet providers in order to make that content available to airline passengers in-flight.
- Lead counsel in drafting and negotiating the patent licensing from an Eastern European technology company to the West of a chemical process for sulfur prilling, together with technical service agreements with the inventors.
- Lead counsel in a $200 million project for design, procurement, fabrication, construction and installation of a plant for manufacturing sulfur prills at Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
- Lead counsel for all technology licensing and much of the design, fabrication, and construction contracting for a $100 million dollar plant expansion in the three petroleum refineries, both for efficiency improvements and also for improvements to meet specific requirements of the U.S. Clean Air Act.
- Counsel for drafting and negotiating a contract with the Manville Trust for development of an extremely large software system for administration of asbestos-related personal injury claims.
- Counsel for intellectual property due diligence in the development of a downstream joint venture between two of the largest oil companies in the world.
